Founded in 2011, BVRio is a non-profit organisation that works at the intersection of economic, environmental and social sustainability. BVRio creates new models and solutions, to demonstrate their viability to escalate through new companies (‘spin-offs’), partnerships or other market players.
Our mission is to create and promote innovative market-based solutions for the benefit of the economy, the environment and the people. Initially established in Brazil, BVRio is now operating in the UK, China, Ghana, Indonesia and the Netherlands, developing and supporting projects and initiatives in more than 50 countries worldwide.
