Norad is the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation. It is a professional organisation linked to the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (UD) for projects related to Norway’s Climate and Forest Initiatives (NICFI), operating under the Ministry of Climate and Environment (KLD).
Its primary function is to ensure that development aid funds financed by the Norwegian government are carried out in the best possible way, including reporting on initiatives that work and how this happens.
Norad has signed agreements 39 organisations as part of Norway’s International Climate and Forest Initiative (NICFI) for 2021-2025, of which this project is one of the beneficiaries.
