Goret Pereira Paulo: PhD in Public Administration from the São Paulo School of Business Administration (EAESP), Master in Economics from the Graduate School of Economics (EPGE) of the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV) and Bachelor in Economics from the Fluminense Federal University (UFF). She has extensive experience in the gas and electricity sectors and currently manages research projects in energy and infrastructure at FGV. She is Director of the Research and Applied Knowledge Network at FGV and a National Contact Point for the European Commission, especially in Science and for Society and Inclusive, Innovative and Reflective Societies. She is a Board Member of the Insurance and Reinsurance Innovation Institute of FGV and the Power Transmission and Electricity Generation Committees of ABDIB.
Ricardo Simonsen: Quality Center for Applied Research Director at the Getúlio Vargas Foundation. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and a master’s and doctorate in Economics from EPGE/FGV. Between 2003 and 2020, he was Technical Director of FGV Projetos, a technical advisory unit of FGV, and Head of the Center for Business Economics of IBRE between 1999 and 2003. Previously he worked in financial institutions in the areas of corporate operations and was a lecturer in economics and corporate finance.
Baiena Feijolo Souto: Project Coordinator at FGV. Master in Population Studies and Social Research from the National School of Statistical Sciences of IBGE. Bachelor in Social Sciences from the Federal University of Bahia – UFBA. Specialist in social indicators and human rights. She works in social, economic and demographic research. She is an expert in coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams in developing public and private sector projects, including evaluation and monitoring of public policies, analysis of social policies, territorial development plans, sector plans and strategic planning.
Guilherme Barbosa Vinhas: Master in Law Economics from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid), specialist in Economic Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas – FGV/RJ, Bachelor in Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo – PUC/SP. Lawyer for over twenty years in regulatory law and infrastructure, especially in the energy sector, oil and natural gas, energy transition and ESG governance. Partner at VINHAS E REDENSCHI ADVOGADOS Law Firm, having worked in a company’s legal department in the oil sector and at the Attorney’s Office of the National Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels Agency – ANP.
Angelo Costa Gurgel: Agronomical Engineer and PhD in Applied Economy from the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV), post-doctorate at the MIT Joint Program on the Science and Policy of Global Change. CNPq Research Productivity Fellow 1D. Researcher at the MIT Energy Initiative and Joint Program on the Science and Policy of Global Change. Professor of the Professional Master’s Degree in Agribusiness of the School of Economics of Fundação Getulio Vargas – FGV EESP. Professor at the School of Economics, Business and Accounting of Ribeirão Preto – FEARP/USP.
Eduardo Santiago Rosseti: Master’s Degree in Population Studies and Social Research from the National School of Statistical Sciences of IBGE. Bachelor’s Degree in Maths Sciences from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora – UFJF. He has worked as an independent consultant for the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), the Ministry of Health and the Pan-American Health Organisation (PAHO), linked to the World Health Organisation (WHO). Currently, he works at Fundação Getúlio Vargas, based at FGV Projetos, providing services and consultancy to various public and private entities. He participates in various technical consultancies responsible for formulating, using and creating statistical indicators, also applying statistical and econometric models, geospatial statistics, geoprocessing, thematic maps and demographic data.
Felippe Cauê Serigati: Lecturer at the School of Economics of Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV EESP), coordinator of the Professional Master’s Degree in Agribusiness (MPAgro) at FGV EESP, a researcher at the Agribusiness Center of FGV (FGV Agro) and contributor to the magazine Agroanalysis (column Macroeconomics of Agriculture). He holds a master’s degree and a PhD in economics from the School of Economics at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV EESP) and was a visiting researcher at the University of California, Berkeley.
